Welgro chooses Isah ERP: a partner that truly understands manufacturing

Roel Lankveld, Continuous Improvement Engineer at Welgro, was closely involved in selecting the right ERP system. “This involved analyzing our current workflows and identifying what needed to be improved. Our previous ERP system was no longer capable of supporting the ambitions we had. We want to integrate the entire order fulfillment process into one system, gain better insight into the cost price per trailer, connect with our PLM system and digitize the production process,” Lankveld explains.

After evaluating several systems, Isah’s ERP solution stood out to Lankveld and the rest of the project team as the best choice. “What we appreciated was that the people at Isah quickly understood Welgro’s processes and knew how best to optimize them. They truly understand how a manufacturing company operates. We were especially impressed by the design and user-friendliness of Isah’s Shop Floor Control. Currently, everything on the shop floor is still done on paper. We want to digitize this process without causing a major disruption to our current way of working.”

With Isah as the new ERP system, Welgro aims to build a future-proof IT landscape with all data centralized in one place. Lankveld continues, “Five years from now, I envision large screens hanging on every production floor at Welgro, displaying dashboards with real-time figures and important information. These dashboards will show how we are performing and what still needs to be done. The enthusiasm for IT within the organization has already been sparked with the selection of Isah. We are now beginning to learn Isah, train on the system, set up workflows, and organize our data. We expect that Isah will be fully implemented at Welgro by the fall. At that point, the entire process from quotation, through paperless production, to after-sales service will be managed within a single system.”
